ABOUT ME

 

Whitney J. LeBlanc grew up in Louisiana and has spent more than half of his fifty year career in Hollywood as a director for television sitcoms, and daytime dramas.  He has worked as a university professor, professional theatre set designer,  and television producer . In 2003  he was the recipient of the Amistad award for his novel Blues in the Wind.   His other novels  Shadows of the Blues and Bodacious Blues,  complete what he calls his Blues Trilogy. He holds an MFA in theatre production from the University of Iowa.  LeBlanc lives in the Napa Valley of California with his physician wife and has four children.  He writes novels and designs stained glass windows for churches.
